forever can't be guaranteed

She's pushing the ice machine button chaotically for her favorite ice coffee with her right hand, what a mess.

Ms. White comes across the street.

She's mad there, and she's drawing with her right mind.
Again, what a mess.

She wants him so bad that everything around him feels wrong.
While Ms. White wants anything but him.
Here, let us just say, what a mess.

"But why?" She asks rashly.

"I'm afraid" Ms. White firmly replies.

"I'm happy and lucky at the same time. This is rare to find." She's convincing restlessly. Walking back and forth.

"Of course I know, we're the same if you forget. It's just quite threatening, you know that."

She stops, finally. Realizing It's just her against her.

Ms. White takes a deep breath.

"Then why?" She's in a huff.
So she takes a sit back, calming herself.

"But only by knowing that we're lucky, I'm afraid. Everything has an expiration date. We don't know how long this luck will be on our side, right?"

"Of course, we can make it together. We can try to always be with him from now on. But we still have a lot of things to go through, and we still have a long way to go. So does he. It still needs to be our time first, we have to make sure. Can you guarantee that he will stay like this even after he met a lot of nice girls on his journeys? or will you always stay like this?"

She's now thinking, will he stay the same? or will she? Will this one works out?

"We never know what's waiting in front of us. Better to put our expectation low, or none at all."

Ms. White feels sorry but knows she has to say it all. She pats her shoulder and walked away, leaving her in silence.

And she's still there, convinces herself inside.

well, at least I will be.
